The secret of humidifier atomizer: Do you know where the water mist comes from?

Everyone should be familiar with humidifiers, right? When I was a child, there was always an old-fashioned humidifier at home. When I turned on the switch, the whole room became misty after a few minutes, which was particularly dreamy.
Most of the humidifier Atomizer Plate on the market now use ultrasonic technology with a frequency of up to 1.7MHz or 2.4MHz. This high-frequency oscillation can break up water molecules into ultra-fine particles of 1 micron to 5 microns, thus forming mist. Simply put, ultrasonic vibration turns water into mist.
The magic of Atomizer Plate
This key technology is inseparable from a component called Atomizer Plate. Atomizer Plate can generate high-frequency oscillations to break up liquid water molecules into small water droplets, which are then sprayed out by the nozzle. Compared with the traditional heating atomization method, ultrasonic atomization can save 90% of energy!
The difference between Ceramic atomizer plate and microporous atomizer plate
There are two main types of atomizer plates: ceramic atomizer plates and microporous atomizer plates. Ceramic atomizers are made of piezoelectric ceramics, which use high-frequency vibration to instantly break water into tiny water droplets, which are then sprayed out from the nozzle. This type of atomizer requires a large voltage to drive, usually 24V to 48V. The microporous atomizer is made of perforated steel sheets, which absorb water through the tiny holes in the middle and spray it out. The most commonly used in small humidifiers are microporous atomizers, which have low power.
Size and frequency selection
The sizes of atomizers are 13.8mm, 16mm, 20mm, and the largest is 25mm. There are different options for frequency, such as 108kHz, 110kHz, 150kHz, 160kHz, and 1700kHz. Which one to use depends on your humidifier model and needs.
Circuit principle
The circuit of the ultrasonic humidifier is mainly composed of a power supply circuit, an oscillator circuit, and a water level control circuit. After the AC 220V voltage is stepped down by the transformer, the bridge rectifier filter circuit provides working voltage for the water level control circuit and the oscillator. When the water level detection electrode detects water, the rectified DC voltage provides working voltage to the collector of V1 through the resistance of water between the water level electrodes, turning on V1 and providing bias voltage to the oscillator. After the oscillator oscillates, the ultrasonic atomizer generates high-frequency vibration to atomize the water.
